These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Pick-A-Booth website (pickabooth.ca) and the photo booth rental services provided by Pick-A-Booth ("we", "us", "our"), based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. By using our site or booking our services, you agree to these Terms.
Our services
Pick-A-Booth provides photo booth rentals for weddings, corporate events, parties, and brand activations, including digital, print, and fully custom booth packages as described on our site.
Prices and currency
All prices shown on our site are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude GST (5%), which is added where applicable. Add-ons are priced as listed. Prices are subject to change, and the price for your event is confirmed in the written quote we provide. Digital Drop-Off has separate weekday and weekend pricing, shown at the time of booking.
Booking, deposit, and payment
To confirm a booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of $250 or 25% of the total quoted price, whichever is greater. Your date is reserved only once the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due at the end of the event, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Travel and setup
There are no setup fees. Events outside our local Calgary service area may be subject to a travel fee, charged at the standard per-kilometre automobile allowance rate prescribed by the Canada Revenue Agency (the minimum statutory rate). Any travel fee is included in your written quote before you confirm.
Cancellations and refunds
The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel your booking, the deposit is forfeited. If we are unable to provide the booked service due to our own fault, your deposit will be refunded in full. We are not responsible for failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (such as severe weather, a power failure at the venue, accident, illness, or other force majeure); in those cases we will work with you to reschedule where possible.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate event information and to ensure that the venue offers adequate space, a standard power outlet within reasonable distance, and safe, weather-appropriate conditions for the booth and our staff. You are responsible for the conduct of your guests and for any damage to our equipment caused by you or your guests beyond normal use.
Designs, logos, and images
If you upload logos, artwork, or images to our Design Your Booth tool, you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them, and you grant us permission to use them solely to produce and operate your booth. We will not use photos of you or your guests for our own marketing without your consent.
Limitation of liability
Our services are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and branding of this website are owned by Pick-A-Booth and may not be copied or reused without our permission.
Privacy
Your use of our site and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time you book applies to your booking.
